Recipe One: Princess Leia Danish Dos

Well, it is finally time to begin my journey. I started my path at the best possible point, the beginning. The first recipe in the first Star Wars Cookbook was Princess Leia Danish Dos. In other words, cinnamon rolls with a sweet Star Wars name. The name no doubt comes from Leia's famous hairdo in Star Wars: A New Hope. This recipe was easy enough for a youngling to make and very delicious.

The First step was to preheat the oven and grease a baking sheet with butter. Easy enough. Then you are to melt butter in a pan. Kinda stupid pic but it should look like this.

After that unroll a can of pizza dough onto a lightly floured surface and brush the melted butter over the dough.
Like so.
Then mix a lot of cinnamon and sugar together in a bowl.

Then sprinkle the mixture all over the butterd dough.
Looks pretty doesn't it?
After that, roll it into a log and cut the log into one inch pieces.
Place them on the baking sheet
and bake them for twenty minutes.
While the Danish Dos are baking it's time to make the icing. Place milk and confectioners sugar into a bowl and mix with a spoon until you have a gooey mixture. Mix in the vanilla extract and it should look like

 this.
After they are done baking they look like this.

Then you add the icing using a butter knife.

And just like that you're done!
Can you tell which ones are mine?
Like my new hairdo? I don't pull it off as well as Carrie Fisher.
I really enjoyed making thie recipe. It was simple and tasted great. I give this
 four lightsabers.
Thanks for reading. Next weeks recipe is C-3PO pancakes.
Until next time, May the Force be with you.

  1. Awesome job, keep it up! I think you should super-size them next time so they fit your big head a little better.
